The HyVentive Electrolyzer Demonstration Unit
Rockfin has developed and manufactured a demonstration electrolyzer unit dedicated to the production of green hydrogen. The HyVentive Electrolyzer allows our customers to experience inventive technology in action and is located at Rockfin’s headquarters in Małkowo, Poland. HyVentive Electrolyzer portfolio features systems for green hydrogen production and scalable solutions, starting from 10kW, 1MW and beyond.
The HyVentive system features a modular design tailored to user requirements
Key Features of the HyVentive Electrolyzer Demonstration Unit
- 10 kW (2 Nm³/h) electrolysis capacity
- Fully self-contained, stand-alone unit
- Integrated electric power and control system
- Built-in water preparation module
- Integrated gas separation module
- Remote monitoring via a dedicated app
- Compact design housed in a 10-foot container
Additional benefits:
- Containerised units suitable for small-to-medium scale systems.
- High-purity hydrogen (≤ 99.999%) achievable with the optional purification system.
- Versatile applications across various industries.
- The electrolyzer has a capacity of 10 kW and serves as a demonstration device, enabling the testing of the same functions and parameters as those found in commercial-scale generators (e.g., 1 MW).
- The demonstrator’s power allows for the production of several kilograms of hydrogen per day.
- Our electrolyzer can be fully powered by renewable energy sources, such as wind farms or photovoltaic installations, enabling local production of green hydrogen. This makes it an exceptionally environmentally friendly solution.

HyVentive News
Rockfin joins the delegation of the European Union to Canada at the Canadian Hydrogen Convention 2025 held in Edmonton
A dedicated interview highlighted key challenges and opportunities to all hydrogen stakeholders towards a sustainable future:
-How is the EU advancing hydrogen markets?
-What challenges and opportunities are facing thehydrogen industry?
-How can EU- Canada collaboration accelerates Europe’s energy transition?
- Key Highlights
Hydrogen is a pillar of theEU’s climate-neutral strategy for 2050. With 20 million tonnes of renewable hydrogen targeted by 2030 (half of it imported), partnerships like the one with Canada are essential to achieving this vision.
- Challenges & Opportunities
The sector must overcomehigh CAPEX, cost disparities vs. fossil-derived hydrogen, and fragmented regulations. Yet, with innovation, maturing tech, and strong policy tools likeRED III and CETA, these challenges are turning into opportunities.
-EU–Canada Collaboration
Canada’s East Coast is rich in renewables and export-ready. Its political stability, aligned certification systems, and deep-water ports make it a strategic partner for Europe’s green hydrogen imports.
-Rockfin & HyVentive: Powering the Green Future
Through our HyVentive systems portfolio, Rockfin delivers advanced, modular hydrogen infrastructuretailored for safety, efficiency, and scalability. We are proud to contribute to shaping a secure, sustainable global hydrogen economy.

Driving Green Mobility at the Zurich Forum Polish Investment and Trade Agency (PAIH)
At the Zurich forum, Paweł Trojanowski, Rockfin Business Development Directorfor Hydrogen Systems, joined a panel on green mobility. HyVentive is key toenergy independence and clean energy in manufacturing and transport and othermultiple sectors, while cutting reliance on imported fuels. HighlightingPoland’s contribution to a greener Europe and reinforced Rockfin commitment tointernational collaboration towards a carbon-neutral future.
Industrial-Scale Hydrogen at WIN EURASIA, Istanbul, Hydrogen and Co., Türkiye
At WIN EURASIA, Rockfin showcased HyVentive electrolysis technology developedfor industrial-scale green hydrogen production. Our electrolyzer systems canscale beyond 20 MW, delivering the high volumes of hydrogen needed forheavy industry. Rockfin experts discussed hydrogen technology selection andintegrating solutions into existing energy systems. Key topics werebalance-of-plant (BoP), compressors, purifiers, cooling units and controlsystems - by providing complete support and engineering, we deliver more thanan electrolyzer - a fully optimised end-to-end hydrogen solution for everyproject.
Towards a Clean Energy Future
Rockfin engagements in Switzerland and Turkey highlight Rockfin growinginfluence in Europe’s hydrogen economy and our vision for a sustainable energyfuture. By driving Green Hydrogen at scale and accelerating the EnergyTransition. With HyVentive ready for 20MW+ projects and comprehensive hydrogeninfrastructure capabilities, we are proud to support the Hydrogen Economy andadvance to a clean energy future.
Construction of Poland’s First Rockfin Hydrogen Refueling Station Underway in Gdynia.
The completion of installation is scheduled for 2025, and we’ll share more detailsabout the official opening date as soon as it is confirmed.
Prior to the installation, together with ORLEN S.A., GZOG Energy Sp. z o.o., and Maximator Hydrogen GmbH, we successfully carried out a FactoryAcceptance Test (FAT) at the production facility in Nordhausen. The test wascompleted with full success – both technically and operationally.
What makes this station stand out?
It will be the first Rockfin HyVentive station in Poland offering hydrogenrefueling for both passenger cars and heavy-duty vehicles, with a strong focuson speed, safety, and state-of-the-art technology.
Rockfin scope of work includes:
- Delivery and validation of hydrogen refuelingtechnology
- Review of design documentation and testingprocesses
- Safety procedure verification
- Emergency shutdown system testing
We’re proud to be actively involved in the development of zero-emissioninfrastructure in Poland and to support the decarbonization of transportby implementing hydrogen-based solutions.
